Goodearth Education Foundation is an initiative that has been set up by the Eicher group in keeping with its commitments as a responsible corporate entity.The Eicher Group feels that primary education is one of the key areas for facilitating social change. It was with this objective that Goodearth Education Foundation (GEF) was established and registered as a non-profit organisation under Section 25 of the Companies Act 1956 in the year 1996.Presently the foundation's efforts are directed towards rural areas where the need for intervention is perceived to be the greatest, since traditionally, learning opportunities were never there in these places.

Continuously raising awareness levels we work in tandem with the village community to set up or strengthen existing schools. This is done right from the pre primary (balwadi) stage since this is a very important time for the development of the child.

Along with this, we work with adolescents, giving learning opportunities to children who have never been part of the schooling system.
